1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Relational ROOTS™, you agree to these Terms of Use and the linked Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Assessment Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit assessment information.
2. Educational purpose
Relational ROOTS™ provides educational, reflective, faith-informed, and guided self-awareness resources. The platform is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, pastoral-care, or emergency service. Assessment results describe reported impact at the time of assessment; they are not diagnoses, fixed identities, causal findings, or proof of another person’s motives or character. Results should not be used as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.
3. Accounts and secure access
- You are responsible for using an email address you control.
- You may not share secure sign-in links, account tokens, or paid access with others.
- You must provide accurate information and protect access to your email account and device.
- We may suspend access when we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorized sharing, or security risk.
4. Purchases and digital access
Prices and product descriptions are displayed before checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. A Personalized Insight Journey is connected to the assessment result for which it was purchased. Access to a journey or other digital resource is licensed to the purchaser for personal, noncommercial use unless a separate written license states otherwise. Purchases are also subject to the Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual property
Relational ROOTS™ materials include original written content, assessment items, personalized journey content, visual designs, branding, educational resources, and other proprietary or copyrighted materials. Relational ROOTS™ also claims rights in its brand identifiers and protects confidential implementation materials that are not made available to users.
Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the material you receive for your own noncommercial reflection. You may not copy or extract assessment items, reproduce or distribute paid journey content, resell access, publish substantial portions, use the materials to build or train a competing assessment or product, reverse engineer protected access systems, or create commercial derivative products without written permission.
You may download purchased materials for your own personal use and may print a reasonable number of copies for that personal use.
6. Prohibited use
- Attempting to access another person’s account or results.
- Bypassing payment, access controls, or security features.
- Uploading malicious code or interfering with website operation.
- Using results to diagnose, shame, manipulate, control, or discriminate against another person.
- Copying or commercially distributing protected materials without permission.
7. Personal use and account boundaries
Assessment results and Personalized Insight Journeys are intended for the participant connected to the assessment. Do not submit another person’s private information without permission, impersonate another person, or use another person’s results as a substitute for direct communication, professional evaluation, or appropriate consent.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, update, pause, or discontinue features. During beta, some features may change as reliability and user experience are refined. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
9. Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relational ROOTS™ is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
